Import products and stock from Excel

Add hundreds of products at once with the Importer: download the sample sheet, fill it in, upload it, then import opening stock for each branch.

The Importer adds or updates many products at once from an Excel sheet, then loads opening stock for each branch. Open it from Admin Catalogue › Importer.

Import products

1. Click Download Product Sample and open the sheet in Excel.
2. Fill one row per product. Keep the column headings exactly as they are, and use category and brand names that already exist in your catalogue.
3. Save the file as .xlsx.
4. Click Import Products and choose your file (one file at a time).
5. The import runs in the background. A notice in the top bar of the admin panel tells you when it has finished; you can keep working meanwhile.

Import product images

Use Import Zip to upload many product images together in one zip file. Follow the step notes shown on the Importer screen for how to name the images.

Import opening stock

1. Under Select Branch, choose the branch the stock is in.
2. Download the stock sample sheet. It lists your products by SKU.
3. Enter the quantity on hand for each product and save the file.
4. Click Import Stock and choose the file. Repeat for each branch.
