Categories and brands

Organise your catalogue with categories and brands, set their sort order and images, and give each a meta title and description for search engines.

Categories group your products on the POS and on your website menu. Brands let customers shop by maker. Both are in Admin Catalogue.

Add a category

1. Open Admin Catalogue › Categories and add a category.
2. Enter the Name, for example Sofas or Cooking Oil.
3. Set the Sort Order. Lower numbers appear first on the website and the POS.
4. Upload an image (up to 1 MB). Your website shows it on category tiles.
5. Optionally fill Meta Title and Meta description for Google.
6. Keep Active on and save.

Add a brand

1. Open Admin Catalogue › Brands and add a brand.
2. Enter the name and sort order, upload the brand logo, and save.

Branch catalogue

Admin Catalogue › Branch Catalogue shows which categories, brands and products each branch sells. Use it when a branch stocks only part of your range.
